In celebration of the main heroine of Card Captor Sakura, Sakura Kinomoto's birthday; which is today, April 1; Bandai has unveiled another Sakura figure to be released in the S.H Figuarts line, this time its the costume she wore in the 2nd Opening theme titled Tobira wo Akete (lit. Opened the door) of the anime series, hence the version name for this figure.
Could this be we'll getting more figures of Sakura in different outfits? I wish Bandai would make a figure of the costume she wore in the 3rd Opening of the anime, she looks cute in that costume.
Anyway, there are no information as of yet whether this is a regular release or another Tamashii-Web exclusive figure. Stay tuned for more updates.
