Konami officially announces their next Structure deck to be released this coming June, following Synchron Extreme.
Titled Master of Pendulum (designated as SD29), and as the title implies, the new Structure deck focuses heavily on Pendulum summoning, which the main character Yuya Sakaki uses. Unlike the previously released Starter deck 2014, there are 4 new Pendulum monster cards to be released, and 2 reprinted ones. The new Pendulum cards will contain 2 Normal types and 2 Effect types with one is also a Tuner, making the second Pendulum Tuner monster that will be released in the set (the first Pendulum Tuner will be released in the Clash of Rebellion booster pack).
Also, a new Odd-Eyes monster will be released in the set; another XYZ monster, in a form of Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon that has 2 effects: one which focuses on negating the opponent's attacks and at the same time special summons an Odd-Eyes monster from hand or graveyard (by detaching 1 XYZ material to activate the effect) and second: if Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon is destroyed (by battle or card effect) and sent to the graveyard, it can easily special summons an Odd-Eyes monster (except Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon) from the Extra deck, making this XYZ monster a staple in an Odd-Eyes deck. And since this deck relies on summoning Odd-Eyes monsters, hopefully, they reprint Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon in this set as its very hard to find and expensive to buy higher rarity prints.
In conjunction to the Structure deck release, Konami will also be releasing an additional support to it, which is a Pendulum monster, Insight Magician (shown above) that will be released separately and exclusively in the upcoming June issue of V-Jump magazine.
The pre-constructed deck contains 43 cards, (I'm assuming 41 are from the main deck while 2 cards are from the Extra deck), and will include a game mat, and a rule book. The Master of Pendulum Structure deck is priced at 1,000 Yen or Php 1,000 (local SRP here in PH) and will hit the card shops on June 20 in Japan and/or probably the Philippines and other Asian countries (usually a week after Japan's release).
