Yes, its that time once again; Konami released last week the upcoming Banlist for the Official Card Game (OCG) that will take effect this July. Check out what OCG cards that got the ban hammer, placed in the limited and semi limited list, and no longer listed.
And the winner for the card that got to receive the ban hammer is none other than...
FORBIDDEN:
ZOODIAC BROADBULL
Zoodiacs were dominating in the OCG meta since this year because of Broadbull's card effects, its no wonder why this card gets banned.

Aside from Zoodiacs, True Draco are also dominating in the OCG which these cards fits perfectly to any meta or pure True Draco deck, but limiting these cards gravely crippling the deck's playing strategy. For Fairy Tail - Snow, I know that its effects which re-summoned from the graveyard by banishing 7 cards from hand, field, and/or graveyard and also when it was Normal or special summoned, it has the effects similar to the card Book of Moon which is kinda annoying, it loses the opponents' playing advantage in the field. I'm glad this card got limited.

Well, its not surprising that the once sought after Pendulum cards and supports got semi-limited given the fact due to the existence of the Extra Monster Zone, Pendulum summoning from the Extra deck got trickier unless you need to summon Link monsters first onto the field to make use of the Link markers to summon it to the Main Monster Zones. I felt sorry to those who bought 3 copies of the latest Structure deck which contains Solemn Strike as the latter got semi-limited, but still 2 copies of this in the deck still has advantages, I was also looking forward to put these in my Deskbot deck when I really need it. Terraforming on the other hand still pretty handy even its limited to 2 copies.

Take note that the banlist applies only to Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG players in Japan and the rest of Asia, including Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea and the Philippines. I've heard the banlist on weekly pod tournaments will take effect here in the Philippines, this coming weekend, June 24.
