Konami officially announced that Dark Neostorm is the next major Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Booster pack and the first major pack release for the year 2019, following the release of Savage Strike.
The upcoming booster pack will include cards from the current anime series, Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS which includes new card supports for Yusaku / Playmaker's Cyberse deck which features his new XYZ ace monster, in a form of Firewall X (pronounced Xceed) Dragon, serving as the booster pack's official cover. Other card supports for Takeru Homura / Soulburner's Salamangreat deck, as well as Mr. Onizuka's Dinowrestler, Revolver's Vullet Dragon, Emma Bessho's Altergeist, and Kenmochi and Yoroizaka's Gouki's decks will be included in this release.
Aside from the aforementioned cards, new card supports for old and new decks will also be included, old decks such as D-HERO (Destiny Hero), Chaos, Madolche, Super Quant, T.G. (Tech Genus), HERO, Neo Flamvell, Cloudian and even the Assault mode cards while new and recent decks such as Magical Musket, World Legacy, World Chalice, Knightmare, Krawler, Fur Hire, Mayakashi, Guardragon, The Weather, and Impcantation.
A total of 80 cards will be released in this set. Each pack contains 5 cards with a chance of getting a Rare, Super, Ultra, Ultimate, Secret, and Holographic (Ghost) Rare cards as well as the new rarity; 20th Secret Rare which was first introduced in Cybernetic Horizon booster pack.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Dark Neostorm is slated to hit the card and comic shops, January 12th, priced at 143 Yen per pack.
