Final Dragonball Super: Broly Trailer Released Reveals Another Returning Character To The Franchise

Just hours ago, the final trailer of the upcoming Dragonball Super: Broly movie was released and in that trailer reveals another returning character to the franchise.

In the released trailer, its officially revealed that the Fusion Saiyan Gogeta will appear in the film as he goes toe-to-toe fight with Broly. This means that the character will officially join in Akira Toriyama's Dragonball Universe continuity much like Broly. The character design on Gogeta is much similar to his original character design which he first appeared in the 90's, with the exception on the color of his vest which has the same color scheme as his Fusion son, Gotenks. Just like Goku and Vegeta, Gogeta can transform into his Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Blue forms, as also shown in the trailer. We also get to see Gogeta for the first time in his normal form since he first appeared as a Super Saiyan in the 90's movie and later as Super Saiyan 4 in Dragonball GT in 1997 (both images shown below).

Gogeta was born from Goku and Vegeta performing a Metamoran Fusion dance technique; the same technique used by Goten and Trunks to fuse to Gotenks. Aside from Gogeta and Broly, other returning characters will appear in the in the film such as Broly's father, Paragas, Bardock and Gine (Goku's biological mother) in a flashback; retelling of the one-shot Dragonball Minus story manga, also written by Toriyama, Raditz, Nappa, King Vegeta, and King Cold. Also new characters such as Frieza's henchmen Cheetai, Lemo and Kokono will also appear in the film.

Check out the final trailer below. Dragonball Super: Broly is directed by Tatsuya Nagamine with the story written by Dragonball creator Akira Toriyama which he also did the character designs in the movie, along with Naohiro Shintani with the theme song of the film titled Blizzard, sung by Daichi Muira. It opens in Japanese theaters, December 14th and it will soon be released worldwide.
