Bad news Guardians of the Galaxy fans: Disney has just fired its director James Gunn over its offensive tweets.
This according to Walt Disney Studios Alan Horn quote: "The offensive attitudes and statements on James' Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio's values, and we have severed our business relationship with him.", this made a hard decision to let Gunn go following the controversial old offensive tweets surfaced online. Gunn already apologized for the tweets he made, most especially regarding his offensive jokes on political, rape and pedophilia which he was very vocal about it.
Gunn attended the San Diego Comic-Con this weekend and was suppose to promote the 3rd Guardians of the Galaxy film, when the news broke out that Disney just fired him, things changed. Now the question remains, whether the fans will accept this since Guardians was one of the successful box-office hit films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), thanks to his brilliant directing.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to be released in 2020, now with Gunn out the picture, who will be directing it?
