Though Love Live! Sunshine!! finished airing last year, its announced that a movie for Aqours is in the works and we have tidbit of information regarding the upcoming anime film.
Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over The Rainbow is the official title of the upcoming Love Live! film which features Aqours visited Italy in promotion for the next Love Live! competition, I'm guessing this is similar scenario to what μ's done in the first School Idol movie where they went to New York promoting the said event worldwide.
Following the announcement of the movie, Love Live! official Facebook page posted the 1st visual poster image showing Chika Takami posing at the Roman Coliseum ruins, suggesting the movie's setting. Aside from the poster, a teaser trailer that was uploaded on their official YouTube channel.
The movie is slated to shown in Japanese theaters, January 4, 2019. Check out the teaser trailer below.
