Let's start the new year with some Yu-Gi-Oh! news, Konami has announced that Flames of Destruction is the next major booster pack release for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game (OCG), following Extreme Force.
The upcoming booster release will contain new support cards for Yusaku Fujiki's (Playmaker's) Cyberse, Go Onizuka's Gouki, Aoi Zaizen's (Blue Angel's) Trickstar, and Revolver's Vullet decks where the latter gains a new Cyberse Link monster: the Topologic Trisbaena which also serves as the booster pack's official cover. It will also include new supports for Akira Zaizen's Tindangle and Emma Bessho's (Ghost Girl's) Altergeist decks.
The new booster will include first new support for the Elemental Lords, in a form of Elementsabers and it also include new supports for the Monarchs, Wind-Up, Trap Hole, Vampire, and World Legacy (aka Star Grail) archetypes.
A total of 80 cards or 103 cards in the Master set and each booster pack contains 5 cards with a chance of getting a Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Ultimate Rare, Secret Rare and Holographic (Ghost) Rare cards. The Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Flames of Destruction rolls out this coming January 13th, priced at 143 Yen per pack.
