DUEL STANDBY! GOOD SMILE COMPANY releases the official images of Yami Yugi, Yugi Mutou's spirit partner from the series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, to be released in Max Factory's figma line this coming June 2016.
The upcoming figure represents Yami Yugi's appearance in the 2001 Yu-Gi-Oh! TV series and its fully articulated which it can do the iconic poses as seen in the show. The former nameless Pharaoh known as Atem comes with the Millennium Puzzle necklace which is wearable around his neck, a removable school uniform blazer/cape, Battle City Duel disk which can be inserted around Yami Yugi's left arm, optional set of hands which 1 pair holding 1 card on the right hand while 5 cards on the left, an additional serious facial expression, and a standard figma display stand.
With this upcoming release of Yami Yugi, I wish Max Factory would release a figma version of his rival, Seto Kaiba and that would be awesome to display in my shelf since I'm an avid Yu-Gi-Oh! fan myself.
