With the upcoming release of the film Star Wars: The Last Jedi which will be shown this coming December, Bandai released new figures in their S.H. Figuarts line based on the upcoming movie, such as these Elite Praetorian Guards.
The Elite Pretorian Guards are the elite soliders of the First Order at their disposal, much like Emperor Palpatine's Imperial Royal Guards in the original trilogy. Bandai will be releasing 3 types: Whip Staff, Double Blade and Heavy Blade type, and each Guard comes with its own set of hands and weapon/s.
Elite Pretorian Guard (Double Blade) will be first to be released in October, while the Heavy Bladed type is slated for November release, and the Whip Staff type is slated for December release; all priced at 5,616 Yen each.
