GOOD SMILE COMPANY released the official images of Red, the main character from the classic Pokémon game Fire Red & Leaf Green as a figma figure which is slated to be released this December.
For those who haven't heard of this character, Red is the main character from the first generation Pokémon games Red and Green (Japan release) and later Red and Blue in the international market. He is also the main character in the upgraded release of Red and Green dubbed Fire Red and Leaf Green, which the upcoming figure is based on his latter incarnation. This character was the basis for creating the main character in the anime version of Pokémon, Satoshi or we know him as Ash Ketuchum internationally.
figma Red comes with a option set of hands, 2 optional facial expressions, Pokeball, backpack, and static figure versions of the starter Pokemons: Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander. As with most figma figures released, Red has also an exclusive bonus item, not one but two variants of a static Pikachu figure. The winking Pikachu variant is a GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP exclusive item while the normal one is a Pokémon Center, Pokémon Store or Pokémon Center Online (Japan) exclusive item.
