Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Shining Victories Officially Announced

Konami officially announced that Shining Victories (SHVI) is the next major Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Booster pack release following Breakers of Shadow.

Like all of the previous booster pack releases, the upcoming set will contain cards that were used by the characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V and will introduce new core deck sets and further support to the existing deck sets such as Dinomist. Most importantly, the upcoming booster will give new major support to the Blue-Eyes deck as it features new monsters that will boost Blue-Eyes' gameplay.

And with the upcoming release of 2 VJump exclusives and Movie promo cards, the gameplay for the Blue-Eyes deck will be greatly improved, and thanks to the new Blue-Eyes Synchro monster, Blue-eyes Spirit Dragon which it has an effect to negate special summoning of 2 or more monsters on the field while this card is on the field, this hinders special multiple summoning of monsters, particularly Pendulum summoning.

There are a total of 80 cards in the upcoming booster set, and each pack contains 5 cards with one card containing a Rare, Super Rare, Secret Rare, Ultra, Ultimate or Ghost Rares. The new booster pack hits the cards shops on January 9, 2016.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Shining Victories booster pack is priced at 143 Yen per pack.
